An amendment to the Constitution of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was approved Wednesday, making the Scientific Outlook on Development as part of the Party's guide for action, according to a resolution of the 18th CPC National Congress.

中共十八大通過黨章修正案，同意將科學發展觀列入黨的行動指南。

Amendment to the Constitution of the Communist Party of China就是《中國共產黨章程（修正案）》，可以簡寫為amendment to the CPC Constitution。和科學發展觀（Scientific Outlook on Development）一樣先後被確立為the Party's guide for action（黨的行動指南）的重要思想有：馬克思列寧主義（Marxism-Leninism）、毛澤東思想（Mao Zedong Thought）、鄧小平理論（Deng Xiaoping Theory） 以及“三個代表”重要思想（the important thought of Three Represents）。

同時，大會還同意將生態文明建設（the need to promote ecological progress）寫入黨章並作出闡述，使中國特色社會主義事業總體佈局更加完善。
